Right to Left Feed Heavy Duty Crimping Applicator for EV Cables

Engineered to Work with Diamond Die & Mold and Competitor Applicators

Diamond Die & Mold presses are designed to integrate with our own applicators (Hi-Speed, Hydrofeed, Heavy Duty) as well as industry-standard competitor applicators. This cross-brand compatibility means you can standardize on Diamond Die & Mold presses across production lines without replacing your existing applicator inventory.

Our engineering team can help you validate compatibility with your current applicator setup before you commit.

Legacy Press Support and Applicator Continuity

Not every operation needs a full equipment replacement. Diamond Die & Mold supports customers who prefer to maintain their installed base of X6 (Gen I) and X22 (Gen I) presses. Legacy models remain available while supplies last, and our team can help you decide whether Gen I continuity or Gen II upgrades better fit your production plan.

For older or discontinued presses from any manufacturer where prints no longer exist, our reverse engineering service can replicate or repair worn press components to keep your production running.

What to Know About Diamond Die & Mold Terminal Crimping Presses

What's the difference between the 6-ton and 22-ton presses?

The 6-ton X6 is built for signal-level and mid-size terminals in bench-top production environments and pairs with Hi-Speed and Hydrofeed applicators. The 22-ton X22 handles large terminals and heavy-gauge cable up to 1000 kcmil (600 mm²) for high-voltage, EV, and industrial power applications and pairs with Heavy Duty and Hydrofeed applicators.

What's the difference between Gen I and Gen II?

Gen I represents our legacy platform, still available while supplies last for customers who prefer continuity with their installed base equipment. Gen II is the current-generation press with an updated footprint and support for expanded safety options including the programmable light curtain. Crimp force, motor power, and press speed are identical between generations.

Can I use Diamond Die & Mold presses with applicators from other brands?

Yes. Our presses are engineered to integrate with our own applicators as well as industry-standard competitor applicators. Contact our engineering team to validate compatibility with your current applicator setup.

Does the press include crimp force monitoring?

Crimp force monitoring is available as an option on all press models. It’s not standard equipment but can be added to help validate crimp quality during production.

What safety features are standard versus optional?

Standard safety features include the E-Stop, single-switch foot pedal, and Plexiglass covers. Optional safety upgrades include a two-switch safety foot pedal or palm button switches, and a programmable light curtain (Gen II models only).

What is the warranty on Diamond Die & Mold presses?

Every press comes with a one-year parts and labor warranty. Our engineering team also provides direct support for the life of the press, including service on legacy Gen I models.

Can you support or replace parts for older, discontinued presses?

Yes. Through our reverse engineering service, we can replicate or rebuild worn press components even for older presses without original drawings. Send us the part or reference model and we’ll measure, model, and reproduce what you need.
